This deliciously vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, in an off-dry style, offers intense passionfruit and gooseberry accompanied with attractive cut-grass, grapefruit, melon and lime notes. 

The grapes for this delicious Sauvignon Blanc were grown in the highly acclaimed Awatere wine region of Marlborough. With a lead in of an extended summer dry period, March provided the ultimate growing conditions with warm days and cool nights, enabling the fruit to have enhanced flavours while retaining acid. 2020 produced clean, healthy, flavoursome fruit. The fruit for this wine was harvested on 1st April 2020 at 21.7° Brix.

Fermentation was initiated with specially selected Sauvignon Blanc yeast, and proceeded in a slow controlled manner to preserve both the varietal fruitiness and its aromatic intensity. It was lightly fined, followed by stabilisation prior to bottling during 2nd July 2020 under screwcap.

Food Pairing: Immensely enjoyable on its own, it is also matches beautifully with Asian and seafood dishes.
