The Black Label Merlot is ruby red in colour and displays upfront aromas of red fruits with toasty oak.This wine is soft and elegant with fresh red berry characters, generous weight, and good length of flavour with a sweet oak finish.

The fruit for this wine was sourced from their vineyards in South Eastern Australia. The climate is hot with high evaporation rates and generally low rainfall, making irrigation essential. The climate is also continental, resulting in long sunny days and noticeably cooler nights. Long sunshine hours ensure fruit ripens fully and low relative humidity results in little incidence of disease.

This approachable, full-flavoured wine derives from fruit sourced from their various dry and irrigated vineyards was harvested at night. The grapes were fermented for a period of seven days. After fermentation, the wine was matured in stainless steel tanks and oak prior to final blending.
