The most recent addition to McArthur Ridge Wines Premier Cru collection, this hand-crafted Chardonnay is an extremely limited release of seven barriques. Springvale Chardonnay displays great elegance, balance and purity, flavours of white stone fruit combine harmoniously with lemon and hints of brioche delivering wonderful complexity. We expect this wine to reward careful cellaring over the next 5 years.
The Springvale name is inspired by the sub-region located on the outskirts of the Alexandra basin, named after the complex underground aquifers which are spring fed from glacial snow melt, enabling the land. This inspiring mountain region is home to McArthur Ridge vineyards.
