Marlborough Sun Sauvignon Rosé 2023

Blackcurrant, Blood Orange, Dry

Pale sherbet pink in colour, this 2023 Sauvignon Rosé has fresh aromatics of blackcurrant, ripe citrus and apple blossom. The palate is lively and refreshing with intense flavours of ripe clementine, blood orange and a hint of blackcurrant. The juicy mid palate continues for a long and lingering finish.

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir varietals sourced from selected vineyard sites within the Dillions Point area of Marlborough.

The fruit was specially selected, and machine harvested in the cool of the night in order to retain fresh fruit flavours. The grapes spent a few hours on skins to extract the appealing soft pink colour then were carefully pressed. After settling, the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel tanks at cooler temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness. At the end of fermentation the wine was stabilised, filtered and prepared for bottling.
