This 2023 ‘lighter’ Pinot Gris is fresh and bright with French pear, delicate florals, and a hint of cinnamon on the nose. The palate is crisp and juicy with threads of succulent pear and honeysuckle, evoking a refreshing, spring-like feel. While being lighter in alcohol, this Pinot Gris maintains a strong and refreshing flavour palate with an off dry style.

Grown in the Marlborough region, the grapes for this low alcohol Pinot Gris were machine harvested earlier in the growing season, before reaching the standard sugar level expectancy of Pinot Gris Varietals. At the winery, the fruit was pressed off it skins and underwent a controlled fermentation, carefully monitoring the alcohol percentage in the wine.

Food Pairing: The bright characteristics of this lighter Pinot Gris, balanced beautifully with a lightly spiced Chinese pork dish.
