Butter, Melon, Oak

This Chardonnay has a light straw colour in the glass with a yellow tint and a lively pearl hue. The nose is dominated by peach and nectarine, with an undertone of yellow and white summer flowers and a very subtle toastiness. On the palate, the wine is crisp and fresh, with a zesty lemony and peachy midpalate, accompanied by light oak and a balanced finish.

This fruity Chardonnay from Marlborough is bursting with notes of peach and nectarine, with an underlying minerality and a lovely balanced finished.

After a warm, above-average wet summer in Gisborne, great care was taken during harvest to manage the timing and quality of fruit picking, allowing us to fully showcase grapes that the region is best renowned for, despite the slightly challenging conditions.

Food Pairing: This M by Montana Chardonnay is a great food wine and is ideally matched to seafood, poultry and lighter game dishes particularly where an element of creaminess is included in the dish.
