From the outset, Brut Premier affirms its personality and seduction: the texture is full and generous and, in a fairly unexpected way, integrates characteristics of maturity associated with fruitier and more refreshing notes. This is the embodiment of Louis Roederer style, combining all the fruitiness and freshness with the vinosity of a fully mature wine. This is a structured and elegantly mature wine, with a lively attack and a smooth palate. Brut Premier is produced from a blend of four years' vintages, of which three are derived from its unique collection of reserve wines which slowly age in large oak vats for over five years. The blend is composed of 66% red grapes (essentially Pinot Noir) and 34% white grapes (Chardonnay). From the outset, Brut Premier affirms its personality and seduction: the texture is full and generous and, in a fairly unexpected way, integrates characteristics of maturity associated with fruitier and more refreshing notes. The wine has a fresh festive finesse.
Champagne Louis Roederer has been awarded the "Robert Parker Green Emblem", making it one of the very first wineries in the world to be awarded this distinction by the Robert Parker Wine Advocate.
Awarded after a thorough edit by the experts of the prestigious Robert Parker Wine Advocate, the "Green Emblem" recognizes an estate's outstanding commitment to sustainable viticulture. It is intended to distinguish wineries that demonstrate exceptional merit in this area and are committed to the long-term protection of the environment and biodiversity.
In this first global award, only 24 wineries were recognized, including the Louis Roederer Champagne House.
