Description

Raspberry, Smoke, Strawberry

"A very good bouquet with a newer, almost raw freshness, youth, and power. Flavours suggest raspberry and plum, roses and dried herbs, a finer flinty mineral quality and savoury complexity. Dry, firm taut and high energy on the palate. Flavours reflect the bouquet, firm ripe tannins, and backbone of acidity. Well made, lengthy and still very new, needing some development time with best drinking from 2027 through 2037" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"A fresh and clean pinot noir with strawberries, raspberries, and hints of smoke on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a medium-fruity finish. Not the most complex pinot, but it delivers clean and focused structure and flavours" James Suckling, Jamessuckling.com

"The 2023 Loop Rd Pinot Noir is good. Full-flavored and with plenty of tannin, the cherry/pomegranate fruit feels both ripe and balanced, and the overall package is an enticing one. It's not as complex as some of the estate bottlings, which is likely is the intention, and in this way, it offers very good value for money. The finish is tight and verges on metallic, with graphite, asphalt and petrichor" Erin Larkin, The Wine Advocate

A fresh Pinot Noir with strawberries, raspberries, and hints of smoke on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with fine tannins, spirited acidity, and silken fruit notes with a touch of wild thyme.
