This aromatic, flavoursome wine has all the classic hallmarks of great Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, but with 30% less alcohol than our 2025 Estate Sauvignon Blanc. Bursting with aromatics of passionfruit, fresh summer herbs and citrus, the palate is packed with the unmistakeable flavours of juicy tropical fruit balanced with a crisp, refreshing acidity.

Created using only natural vineyard practices (no industrial processes), the growing season was marked by good flowering and a dry, warm summer. We used special canopy management techniques to ensure flavour but less alcohol. This involved leaf plucking and trimming to reduce the rate of photosynthesis, which led to less sugar in the grapes and therefore less alcohol. To reduce ripening, grapes were also harvested earlier.

The grapes for this special wine were picked earlier than those for our other Sauvignon Blancs and all the hard work in the vineyard was mirrored in the winery. They were gently pressed and the juice cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks with selected cultured yeast.
