"Very dark, deep ruby-red in colour with concentrated aromas of ripe black fruits, dark herbs, earth and subtle florals. Full-bodied and structured, with flavours of black cherry and blackberry, savoury herbs, dusty earth and mineral notes. Decanting for 2 hours prior to drinking is highly recommended. The fruit was destemmed, cold-soaked and fermented to 14.5% alc. The wine was aged for 12 months in 29% new oak, with only racking used prior to bottling and no filtration or fining. Only 175 dozen were produced.
