Floral jasmine and pear fruit on the nose, followed by a vibrant and juicy palate. The acidity in the wine is well balanced with the luscious Pinot Gris styled finish, and makes a very food friendly wine.
Once picked, the grapes were immediately brought to the winery for pressing. The juice was settled, racked and fermented with a variety of cool fermenting yeast. Once finished, the wine was blended and rested on fine lees for 3 months prior to bottling.
Sourced from long-term growers in Alexandra. This late ripening vineyard provides fruit that retains its purity alongside bright acidity.
