Description
Dry, Pastry, Pear
"Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is fresh and full, with aromas of apple, pear, citrus, blossom and a touch of fennel. Medium-bodied, aromas of apple and pear melded with lemon zest, honeysuckle and fennel. The zesty spice adds interest to the orchard fruit profile, and a touch of apple skin texture provides substance, along with lively acidity, driving a spiced, refreshing finish" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Sep 2025

"Green pear, quince and yellow apple flavours, a gentle white spice and citrus zest quality layer in complexity and style. The core fruits are framed by a vibrant acid line along with a fine lees complexity. Mouthfeel offers a a phenolic texture, followed by a persistent fruit and textured finish. Balanced and well made with best drinking from first day of summer through January 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Feb 2026
Step inside and you’re met with a warm rush of burnt orange, mandarin peel, and spice — the signature aroma of this Marlborough Pinot Gris. On the palate, it’s unexpectedly clean and silky, like a summer stone fruit pastry that refuses to be overly sweet. Fresh cut peaches, citrus, gentle spice, and a whisper of sweetness glide to a soft finish. Easy to love, dangerously easy to drink — this Pinot Gris invites that “just one more sip” feeling.
The majority of fruit is harvested from the mature vines of our Talon block located in the famously fertile area of Dillon’s Point known to produce outstanding Sauvignon Blanc.
Pressed immediately following harvest to minimise skin contact and retain freshness, then cool-fermented at 14+ degrees to maintain rich aromatics. This Pinot Gris sat on lees for 2-3 months post fermentation to further develop in flavour.
