Description
Cream, Oak, Peach
"A delicious wine with freshness and palate appeal, plenty of fruit flavours from apple the grapefruit, then some finer spice layers from wood and leesy flinty moments. Well made, balanced and new. The tannins offer a fine texture, easily dissolved on the palate, adding length and mouthfeel. Best drinking from 2025 through 2029" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Mar 2025
"Delightfully fruited and elegantly lifted, showing ripe peach, rockmelon, nougat and oatmeal notes, leading to a beautifully rounded palate offering smooth texture and juicy acidity, making it friendly and immediately appealing. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2024
Citrus and melon with subtle notes of caramel on the nose. The palate is ripe peach, fresh, luscious and tropical citrus with hints of lemon zest and pastry. Vegan friendly.
Sourced from carefully selected fruit from the ancient fertile floodplain within Marlborough's Wairau Valley. Fermented in a mixture of tank and French oak cask before ageing on lees for 7 months to enhance texture. A fresh tropical Chardonnay that has a ripe peach palate with hints of lemon zest and pastry notes on the finish.
The majority of fruit is harvested from our Falcon Vineyard and blended with other carefully selected blocks from Marlborough’s Wairau Valley.
Fermented in warm controlled stainless steel tanks then and matured for nine months to soften the tannins in this wine. The final wine was blended by Chloe and prepared for bottling.
