Description

Dry, Floral, Redcurrant

"It's delightfully expressed on the nose, showing sweet strawberry, lemon zest, Gala apple, and subtle spice aromas. The palate is equally appealing with juicy fruit flavours and a fine flow, well supported by beautifully pitched acidity, leading to a lengthy, mouthwatering finish. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2026

Scale_-_Dry

A vibrant, luscious, fruity and full flavoured Rosé with redcurrant, wildflower and strawberry fruit characters.

Côtes du Rhône is one of the best loved quality French regions. Although known primarily for red wine, the Rosés, especially those from garrigue-strewn vineyards such as these, are a southern French treat.

From across the southern Rhône we seek out varieties ideally suited to rosé, which are often growing in vineyards where wild lavender, rosemary and olives are abundant. These local botanicals have been illustrated on the front label and reflect the typical ‘garrigue’ plants of the Southern Rhône vineyards. Specific plots of these varieties - Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah - are selected to deliver the right balance and flavour profile. La Ruchette Dorée Rosé is made using traditional methods, including gentle pressing and vinification at cool temperatures to extract as much aroma, flavour and delicate colour as possible with very little tannin.

Food Pairing: The perfect accompaniment to light lunches, grilled fish, vegetable antipasti or as a delicious summer apéritif in the garden.
