Description

Boysenberry, Floral, Spice

“Dark plum/purple hue, the wine opens with currant, blackberry, boysenberry aromatics, this is a super ripe, plush wine that will work with a lot of different food types. Sweet fruit on the mouth, the tannins are grainy and dusty, however the acidity is not high. This is a classic Mediterranean style, mid weight red that ticks lots of boxes: creamy mid palate, some savoury fruit, it even boasts a very funny front label (spoiler alert: may contain traces of bull) and is sealed, conveniently, under a screwcap. A real crowd pleaser" Paul Tudor, Master of Wine

“This is immediately appealing on the nose with sweet plum, mixed spice, and floral aromas. The palate offers succulent fruit flavours, supple texture, and finely pitched tannins, making it smooth and rounded with a lingering, juicy finish. Splendidly expressed, offering charming drinking. At its best: now to 2028” Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
