A radiant expression with bright Summer fruits
A radiant expression with bright Summer fruits
Description
- Dry style
- Summer fruits
- Blackcurrant & raspberry
- Zesty freshness
"Grapefruit and strawberry fruit character, light and approachable with a zesty freshness" International Wine Challenge 2021
Radiant, pale pink appearance. Summer fruit, blackcurrant, raspberry aromas on the nose. Lively attack, fresh redcurrant notes on the palate.
Mechanically-harvested in the early hours of the morning to obtain wine of an attractively pale colour. Grapes are completely destemmed. The approach to winemaking is by the traditional method in stainless steel vats: short period of skin maceration before pressing. Cold temperature settling is the next stage. Fermentation is temperature-controlled and malolactic fermentation avoided to retain those crisp, fresh aromas.
L’Escarelle is delighted to introduce you to its lates wine 'Rumeurs' (Rumours), born from its partnership with talented young illustrator Perrine Honcré. This Rosé marries the freshness of citrus fruit with delectabe Summer fruit flavours, conjuring up visions of escapades and distant lands - the hum of insects, the sound of the breeze and the trickle of water... This new creation strikes a colourful, fresh note.
Food Pairing: As an aperitif, with tapas, pizza, charcuterie.
