A gleaming, golden yellow. Sparkling fizzy toward fine-pored strong. On the nose, Krombacher Pils provides an abundance of fruity hop aromas, which give way to a beautifully balanced malt backbone on the palate. Fresh and smooth, the famous Felsquellwasser and Hallertau hops ensure the beer is crisp, clean and offers a refreshing, long-lasting light bitter finish. Naturally flavoured.
Krombacher Pilsner is a classic German pilsner with 4.8% ABV, renowned for its crisp, clean taste and distinctive hop aroma.
The fine carbonic acid has a cooling effect and enhances the aromas of the food while the hp profile balances the sharpness and heaviness of dishes. This makes the Pils incredibly versatile with food. Try with slow cooked fillet of veal, pine nut purée, white asparagus and macaroni or an array of side dishes and snacks such as salty olives and grilled tomatoes. The Pils also works incredibly well with an array of spicy Asian dishes.
