Les Maurins 2022 has a beautiful intense red color with purple highlights. The nose is very expressive with aromas of ripe black fruits. The mouth is round & fleshy with melted tannins and a lingering finish. Cellar up to 5 years. After this period, the wine will show more mature characteristics.

A classic blend from the sun-drenched vineyards of the South of France, this wine is rich, generous, and wonderfully expressive. Grenache brings plush red berry fruit and a touch of spice, Syrah adds depth, dark plum and a savoury edge, while Mourvèdre layers in structure, earthy notes and a gentle grip of tannin.

1 x Elefante El Valiente Tempranillo 2021 (Spain)

Now made with organic grapes, this a lovely rendition of Tempranillo on the nose fragrant with sweet spice and pepper backed up by the Garnacha that lends a juicyness. The palate is bright and expressive with a burst of mouth-filling ripe berry flavours. Tempranillo flavours of cherry cola and smoked spice flood the palate before supple tannins and subtle oak provide definition to the impressively long finish. Pair with a meat-based paella with plenty of smoked paprika. Organic.

Now made with organic grapes this vibrant blend is expressive and fruit-driven with ripe berry aromas, darker briary notes and hints of spicy oak. The palate is fresh and spicy with seductive red berry and varietal cherry cola flavours, fine tannins and classy oak leading to very long finish.

1 x Caldora Ortonese Puglia Sangiovese Merlot 2023 (Italy)

Plump and juicy with attractive dark berry characteristics and a refreshing finish, this is a delicious, medium-bodied red, at a brilliant price point. The nose gives hints of blackberry and dark plums which continue onto the palate where they are joined by a smooth, round body and a slightly spicy undertone. Lifting the finish is a brightness that balances the fruit and body and makes this a great drop to drink with food. A great everyday drinker, the perfect pairing for this wine would be grilled red meat or a slow-cooked tomato sauce.

Get the taste of Southern Italy with this Susumaniello from our friends at Boccantino. Black plums, blackberry and black pepper on the nose. Great intensity and warmth on the palate, smooth and soft. Delicious. Part of the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks and another part in large oak barrels.
