Kim Crawford Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris 2024
A Pinot Gris sensory experience
A Pinot Gris sensory experience
Description
Dry, Floral, Lemon
Pale lemon. A Pinot Gris sensory experience with classic aromas of ripe pear, green apples and lemon peel, with floral hints of lemon blossom. This Pinot Gris has a bright citrus palate up front, with a deliciously moreish mid-palate bursting with the sweetness of ripe pear, lemon oil and hints of floral, which extends into an elegant, lingering finish.

Kim Crawford wines started out in a small Auckland cottage in New Zealand. Since its launch in 1996, the label has gained critical acclaim around the globe. We do things unconventionally, take risks, start things, and welcome different.
The 2024 vintage is being hailed as exceptional across Hawkes Bay. Favorable weather conditions allowed the vines to ripen perfectly, free from disease pressure. This resulted in excellent ripeness, with wines showcasing impressive flavor intensity and depth.
The fruit was machine harvested and destemmed using a selective harvester. The grapes were then lightly crushed and pumped direct to press, with minimal skin contact. The clarified juice undergoes cool fermentation using specialised yeast strains to maximise aromatic quality.
