Aromas of red and black fruits on the bouquet. Fresh berry of strawberry and raspberry and mulberry fill the front of the palate with soft tannins and spice on the back.
The Stonehorse wines are full of character like the teams of Clydesdale horses that used to work the heavy clay soil, long before tractors were invented. An assemblage of estate vineyards ranging in age from 26 to 56 years in age.
Hand picked, 10 days skin contact and racking twice per day. Maturation in 4 year old French oak for 15 months.
