Deep plum to cherry red. Intense youthful fresh ripe berry flavours with spice and pepper fruits with some complexity. Dense, ripe mulberries fruit flavours balanced with spicy oak and ripe succulent tannins. This wine has the flavour, structure and balance to be enjoyed now or offers added satisfaction from further cellaring.

The different grapes were picked at the following sugar levels to produce the fruit flavours that are required to make this great wine blend. The Shiraz at 14.0 Baume gives the spice and pepper and the Viognier at 13.0 Baume gives the wine a different dimension and complexity. All of the grapes were picked together and fermented in the same tank (Co-fermentation) to help integrate all the flavours. Portion of the wine underwent oak until the right balance was achieved.

Food Pairing: Serve with a roast rack of lamb or mature hard cheeses.
