Floral, herbal hops, grapefruit citrus notes with subtle orchard fruits on the nose, complemented by wood shavings and a little nuttiness. Flavours of hops and light citrus with sweet herbal notes and delicate spicy tones. The lingering fresh fruit and hops give way to grains of barley and a signature smooth finish.

Jameson Caskmates was born from the collaboration between Jameson and a local Brewery near Cork. Their Jameson triple distilled whiskey is aged in craft IPA-seasoned oak barrels and while their signature smoothness is very much intact, notes of hops, citrus and floral confirm the IPA influence. IPA Edition is a head-turning, modern Irish whiskey.

Like all the best conversations, the one between Jameson’s Head of Whiskey Science and the Head Brewer of a local craft beer brewery, started at the bar. A swapping of whiskey and beer barrels soon after, resulted in Jameson Caskmates Series with the IPA and Stout Edition. Their Jameson whiskey, triple-distilled, which has been patiently finished in Irish craft beer-seasoned barrels.
