Smooth & delightfully drinkable
Wine Orbit
Description
Floral, Plum, Spice
"It's fruit-forward and inviting with sweet plum, floral, clove, and hazelnut aromas. The succulent palate offers beautifully rounded mouthfeel backed by supple texture and silky tannins, making it smooth and delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2032" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2025
Dark red with a purple hue. Blackberry nougat, cherry stone, cocoa powder, ginger and nutmeg. Dark cherry and vanilla bean with structural layers of coffee, cardamom and mace. Fresh and juicy with a “chewy” textural tannin structure, that gives the wine persistence and length. A drink now style that will easily cellar for several years.
A full bodied, fruit driven, dry red wine that can be enjoyed now or easily aged for a couple years. Big in flavour, but nicely balanced with fresh acidity.
Barossa fruit sourced from our two estate vineyards, we like to seek out different expressions of Shiraz and blend them to give the freshest and truest representation of this ever popular variety.
Food Pairing: This wine will match well with a range of grilled meat dishes like rump steak, lamb chops or kangaroo loin. These savoury protein meals will complement the richness of the wine nicely. In the same way you could try it with a grilled mushrooms or a hearty lentil stew.
