Huia Gewürztraminer has a fragrant nose of rose petal notes and turkish delight. Soft lychee and rose water flavours fill out the aromatic palate. This is a silky, supple, succulent style with hints of salted caramel, nashi pear and a slight hint of passionfruit on the palate.

The grapes were harvested at 22.3 Brix. Once settled the juice underwent a natural ferment using organic yeasts in tank. The wine was moved to neutral oak to finish ferment. Matured in neutral French oak for 16 months before bottling.

Food Pairing: This Gewürztraminer is delicious with terrines and paté, asian food, smoked seafood and meats, soy honey duck, as well as blue cheeses, aged cheddar, and figs.
