This wine has layers of flavours, with lifted aromas of ripe citrus, passionfruit and gooseberry, with gently scented white florals and hints of nettles. The palate has a refreshing but elegant acidity, with mouthfilling palate weight and a delicate minerality that leads to a long finish.

The grapes for this wine were sourced from two blocks from a single vineyard located in Marlborough’s Lower Wairau Valley, owned by the Holdaway Family.

We harvested and fermented the two parcels of different clones separately, about 10 days apart.  Both parcels were crushed and pressed immediately to retain both the fresh fruit flavours and the delicate pale pink colour.
