A rich and full bodied wine with aromas of dark berry fruit, cedar and vanilla.
A blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Malbec. The grapes were all organically grown and hand harvested.
This wine was organically grown and hand harvested so only the highest quality fruit was selected. After fermentation the wine was aged in French oak for 12 months. The resulting wine is full bodied and smooth with an up front fruitiness backed up with lingering fine tannins providing structure and mouthfeel. This wine is drinking remarkably well already but will also cellar well for 5-10 years.
Food Pairing: Pairs well with red meat as well as pizza, Mexican or bbq flavours.
