This Australia Merlot is a deep plum colour with ruby hues. Bouquet of plum, berry and blackcurrant fruits, layered with subtle oak and hints of aniseed. Underlying tobacco notes are combined with warm spice adding to the complexity. A soft and well balanced palate shows fruit of plum and cherry with integrated sweet oak. Lifted hints of spice and fine extended tannins lead to a lingering finish.
Since 1884 when Thomas Hardy Nottage began a 60- year career looking after the vineyards, the passion and dedication of the Nottage family has been a treasured part of Hardys history.
