Description
Apple, Dry, Herbal
"Varietal and intense, a distinctive mineral core and scents of citrus and stone, cape gooseberry and lime, white flowers and a touch of fruit spice. Equally intense and dry on the palate with fruit and soil impressions a mirror of the bouquet. Taut and youthful with a generous palate squeeze. Delicious, with best drinking from day of purchase through 2030+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
"This organically certified wine was grown on the Waimea Plain. Mouthfilling, it has strong, vigorous, tropical fruit and herbaceous flavours, fresh acidity and a dry, crisp, lingering finish. It is drinking well now, but no rush" Michael Cooper
"Layers of perfumed blossom, citrus leaf and oyster-shell adorn a base of ripe apple on this devotedly complex sauvignon. The palate is dry, elegant and racy, dancing on the edge of herbaceousness with notes of nettle tea, vetiver and white pepper to accompany the refreshingly stony phenolics. A touch astringent on the finish currently, but this will certainly meld together i the coming months. 2025-2027" Stephen Wong, Master of Wine, The Real Review
Pure, delicately fragrant aromas of citrus, lemongrass and ripe apple. Light to medium bodied, the palate is lively with lime, lemon and orange citrus flavours and zest. Tropical notes contribute depth and succulence. Elegantly nuanced rather than loud and pungent in style, there is no lack of crunchy, mouthwatering intensity and drive from beginning to end.
