We’ve crafted our Pure Light range to have maximum flavour with less alcohol and less calories than full strength wines. So you can have it all…..with less.

At 6% alc./vol. this wine is 50% lighter in alcohol compared to our standard Giesen Pinot Gris (12.5% alc./vol), with only 49 calories and 1.9g of sugar per 125ml glass.

First, we craft premium, full-strength New Zealand Pinot Gris. A portion of this wine is then gently de-alcoholised using our state-of-the-art spinning cone technology, carefully preserving the wine’s natural aromas and flavour profile. This portion is then reintegrated with its full-strength counterpart to produce a wine that is round, full and easy drinking. The result is a Pinot Gris that is 50% less alcohol and 45% fewer calories compared to a standard 12.5% alc./vol. wine, yet still full of flavour.
