A luminous pale gold with vibrant green flashes. Pure citrus and floral notes. Crisp, pure flavours energise the palate. A fine edged citrusy succulance propels the wine though into its fine, lingering finish. Finishes just off dry. GV Collection wines are pure expressions of Central Otago. Designed for immediate enjoyment.

2020 was a cool Central Otago growing season marked by low crop levels, and crisp, pure fruit. Budburst, flowering and harvest were 7-14 days later than average, with very small berries and bunches. Fruit was harvested in mid-April, with intense vibrant flavours.

We time our Riesling p i c k to preserve the beautiful citrus flavours and mineral core. It has a simple winery regime: hand picked, and whole bunch pressing. The wine is cool fermented, then bottled.
