Description
Dry, Lemon, Pear
"It’s finely scented on the nose, showing white flesh peach, green tea, ripe pear, and jasmine aromas, leading to an elegantly weighted palate that’s sleek and linear. Beautifully supported by bright acidity, finishing long and refreshing. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2025

Light straw colour with faint green edges. Aromas of lemon citrus, nuts and green pear. The aromas flow delightfully to the palate where fresh fruit flavour drives a long and satisfying finish complemented by subtle nuts and brown spice. A delightful and ultra-food friendly wine built for enjoyment.
As steeped in history as you can imagine. Wines of Italy are pure expressions of history and lifestyle. Crafted in fields of crisp air and rolling hills, Galante wines are everything you come to love about the social and easy nature of wine. Shared as they should, with good company and simple cuisine.
A very low-yielding vintage given the cooler weather and frost events during the Spring months. Further cool weather a spiked heat events throughout the growing period were tempered in the run up to harvest. Here conditions were far more favourable enabling full ripening to occur and although yields were lessened, the quality remained very high and has delivered terrific Pinot Grigio wines.
Hand picked from selected vineyards seeking fruit purity and subtle minerality in the berry to craft a wine style best suited to partner with food. Picked in the cool of the morning to preserve natural acidity and freshness. The vinification is quick and precise with fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks before maturation on lees for three months to build depth of flavour.
