A deep red wine with purple tints in the glass. The nose is intense and full with suggestions of blackberry fruit and spices. The spicy element is also apparent to taste, complementing the red fruit character of this full, lively wine which has a long tasty finish.
Benchmark southern French red wine with masses of juicy fruit flavours and a hint of spice. Not aged in oak, this Côtes du Rhône is a slightly different style to the rserve.
Food Pairing: Delicious with Mediterranean cuisine, cheeses and grilled or roast meats. Serve at cool room temperature. It will cellar for up to 2 years.
