2018 is another vintage that highlights the beauty of cool climate Syrah. Fresh, pure aromas of wild red berries, violets and cracked black pepper, also subtle herbal notes, thyme and lavender. On the palate a bright, medium-weight, high energy wine with distinct Syrah-spice flavours. Sleek, elegant, gentle acidity and subtle tannins are the key features of this vibrant and expressive red that can be served at room temperature for dinner but will give equal pleasure slightly cooler at a summer BBQ.

Winegrowing at FROMM follows a simple philosophy: quality over quantity. From the beginning thyey have been very conscientious about the health of their vineyards. They do this not for commercial or publicity reasons but for genuine concern for their lands, plants, environment and the health of the team. They also believe that organic wines, by virtue of there being no artificial chemical substances put on or near their vines, will be much purer expressions of their terroir and vintage.
