A bronze hue that delivers a savoury set of nutty aromas

Description
“This skin-fermented style has a bronze hue and delivers a savoury set of nutty aromas, ahead of pear-skin and some sweet apple-blossom perfume. The off-dry palate balances the sturdy tannins nicely. Long and richly textured finish.” Nick Stock
Fromm has created a complex and textured Pinot Gris with flavour richness whilst retaining a lovely focus and drive.
This 2018 shows a more intense golden colour than previous vintages due to 12 hours on skins prior to pressing. The nose opens with glacé ginger, apple strudel and ripe Beurre Bosc pears with a hint of orange blossom florals and brioche savouriness. The palate shows a great depth of fruit with lovely flavour richness and there’s a textural weight and complexity to this wine without losing any focus and drive. A dry Pinot Gris with personality and interest.
Bottled in 2018, this Pinot Gris has cellaring potential until 2022 & is certified organic.
This complex Pinot Gris can be paired with meaty fish, cream sauces, rich veal, chicken, or pork dishes, foie gras, and even lamb.
