Vibrant aromatics with suggestions of, mandarin, Mayer lemon and honeycomb. Concentrated, elegant palate with red fruits, orange citrus, peach and some mineral, stone-like textures. Tense, juicy finish.
Framingham Select Riesling is inspired by the classic German “Spätlese” style. The wine is serious but delicate and light on its feet, with naturally low alcohol and great tension between residual sugar and acidity. Selective hand harvest of golden bunches on 25th and 30th March at 21.7 brix (92.5 Öchsle), from the “front” old vines and the Back Spur block. Bunches were pressed whole and the resultant juices fermented cool in stainless steel.
Food Pairing: Great as an aperitif, or match with spicy foods such as Thai.
