Description
Dry, Oak, Passionfruit
"A very nice depth and complexity as the scents of variety and style are released from the bouquet. Aromas of peach and ripe Meyer-lemon, a mix of hay and some exotic fruits, dried herb and fine lees complexity. A silky touch on the palate evolves into core flavours that reflect the bouquet, a back bone of acidity and generous textured mouthfeel from lees and attention to detail in wine making. A length finish with complexity and texture most relevant. Best drinking from 2024 through 2029" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
"Light mid-gold. Quite a tropical nose with pineapple, exotic spice and floral, coconut aromas. The palate has a burst of early fruit—intense and concentrated—before tapering down to a tight, grainy and structured finish. A complex, powerful style of sauvignon with a weighty, textural construction and earthy depth. This will age well and develop complexity in the mid-term" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, The Real Review
The 2023 vintage showcases brilliant notes of citrus zest, passionfruit, and freshly cut grass, interwoven with a crisp, mineral-driven finish.
Framingham F-Series Sauvignon Blanc 2023 epitomises the pinnacle of Marlborough’s renowned viticulture. Harvested from meticulously tended vineyards situated on sun-soaked slopes, this exquisite Sauvignon Blanc benefits from hand-picked grapes ensuring optimal ripeness and purity. Stainless steel fermentation techniques, preserving the varietal's vibrant acidity and aromatic intensity with subtle oak ageing enhancing the complexity without overshadowing the wine’s inherent freshness.
Food Pairing: Ideal for pairing with seafood, salads, and light appetizers.
