The Skalli family, with its long background in winemaking, has been based in the South of France since 1961. In the early 1980s, members of the family visited California where they discovered a new approach to winemaking in the Napa Valley, north of San Francisco which focused on using a single varietal in order to bring out the wine’s true personality.
