Faultline Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021 (Second Blend)
A refreshing, tropical sip!
A refreshing, tropical sip!
Description
Dry
- Dry style
- Grapefruit
- Subtle herbs
- Lingering finish
The Fault Line Reserve has fresh and intense aromas of grapefruit and passionfruit with a subtle herbaceous thread. The well-balanced acidity and refreshing tropical notes, with a salty minerality, leads to a long lingering finish.
Fruit for this wine was sourced predominantly in the lower Wairau sub-region of Marlborough renowned for the best Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The fruit was carefully monitored during ripening and after harvest the juice was pressed off immediately to minimise skin contact and juice deterioration. Fermentation took place in 100 per cent stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain aromatics and fresh fruit flavour.
Food Pairing: Enjoy it on its own or well matched with chicken dishes such as chicken piccata or mango chicken.
