The wine has aromas of violets, blueberries, and mixed spices. It’s exotic and aromatic. The palate is elegant and full of dark black berry flavours with a long complex toasty finish. Perfect for drinking immediately this wine will continue to develop and delight for at least 5 years.

The fruit for this Syrah was carefully selected from the select vineyards within the Hawkes Bay. The vineyard site has ideal ripening conditions for achieving the intense aromatics and delicate structure that Syrah can give.

Fruit for this wine was held cold for four days before fermentation to help extract maximum flavour and colour. The wine was aged in a mixture of French oak and stainless steel and underwent malolactic fermentation before being prepared for bottling.

Food Pairing: Enjoy with slow roasted lamb shoulder with salsa verde marinade.
