"Intensely aromatic and inviting, the bouquet shows green rockmelon, apricot and kaffir lime notes, followed by a powerfully expressed palate that's lively and zesty. Upfront and fruit expressive, offering fabulous drinking" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2023

The nose is intense with lifted aromas of passionfruit, Kaffir lime and sweet basil aromas. The palate is lively and refreshing with a mixture of stone fruit, citrus, and an elegant minerality. Flavours of grapefruit and passionfruit are also evident and assist to form a fruit packed, lengthy finish.

On the 16th October 1848, an earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 7.5 shook the Marlborough region. Land moved as much as 8 metres horizontally along a major fault line of at least 105km in the Awatere Valley, 25km south of Blenheim. Today the Faultline vineyards flourish in the stony free draining soils of Marlborough’s valleys.

Food Pairing: Vibrant and lively this wine is at its best now and is perfect for drinking as an aperitif or with calamari stuffed with chorizo and haloumi.
