A luscious wine with classic strawberries & cream

Bright red fruits and lifted florals lure you in. The palate flush with strawberries and cream delivers a long dry, and delicious finish. This wine is drinking well now but can be cellared for up to 4 years.
A delicious blend of Merlot 52%, Cabernet Sauvignon 31%, Monteputiano 11%, Cabernet Franc 6%.
The grapes were machine harvested and transported to the Riverview winery where they were pressed off immediately to limit colour extraction. The juice was settled then racked off for fermentation using a variety of yeasts but primarily Actiflore Rose. The resulting wines were transported to our Katikati winery where they were finished and bottled.
Food Pairing: Salads, pasta and rice dishes, fish – especially salmon.
Contains sulphites. Produced using milk products, traces may remain.
