Experience the taste of Marlborough with this 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, expect fresh aromatics of ripe passionfruit and lychee. The palate is fresh and full of gooseberry and melon flavours with a delicious citrus burst on the finish.
Named after an extraordinary ship that resides on the Picton foreshore in the picturesque Marlborough Sounds. Built in Bengal 1853, visiting this historic East Indianman ship is a breathtaking experience, and our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is no different.
This vibrant Sauvignon has been crafted using select fruit from the Marlborough region, chosen for its exceptional quality and fruit forward characteristics. Harvested in early March, the grapes for this wine were quickly pressed from their skins and fermented independently in cool stainless-steel tanks. Our winemakers aimed to showcase the best of Marlborough when choosing their final blend before preparing the wine for bottling.
