With pale pink hues, this sparkling wine presents fresh red berries and hints of baked bread on the nose. The palate displays a fine mousse and gentle autolytic character providing complexity. This wine has a long lingering dry finish due to its fine acidity.

Produced by Villa Maria, premium fruit from specific vineyards was selected for this wine. These sites were carefully managed for sparkling wine production to ensure the perfect balance of flavour and acidity at harvest.

Crafted from Pinot Noir, bunches were gently pressed and juice was settled bright before racking and inoculation. Fermentation was controlled at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to allow the development of fine pristine flavours. At blending, a portion of back vintage reserve wine was included to add richness and depth. Following an extended period of ageing on lees in tank, secondary fermentation occurred in specially designed pressure tanks to develop the delicate, fine bead and the wine was bottled shortly after.
