Occupying the historic heartland of Chablis vineyards initially farmed by Cistercian monks, Domaine Testut and its vineyards lie on some of the finest Kimmeridgian limestone soils.

The Domaine Testut Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre represents the pinnacle of Chablis Premier Cru wines. Sourced from a 1-hectare vineyard located on the prestigious right bank of the Serein River, this vineyard is just a stone’s throw away from the Grand Crus, a prime location for producing wines of exceptional quality. The 60-year-old vines are meticulously hand-harvested and fermented entirely in stainless steel, ensuring the wine's purity and focus. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 16 months in tank, preserving its fresh, elegant character while enhancing its complexity. With its dry style, refined balance, and elegant body, this wine is a testament to the craftsmanship of Domaine Testut, one of Chablis' most respected producers.
