Description

Produced from 100% certified organic estate-grown fruit, De Martino Estate Carmenere is a full-bodied red with a fresh, intense aromas of red fruit, tobacco, and cassis, followed by subtle hints of vanilla. Its fresh palate is concentrated with a perfect balance of fruit, vanilla, chocolate, and good acidity.

The de Martino Family have been making wine in Chile's famed Maipo Valley for over 70 years. From the beginning in 1934, their philosophy can be summarized as creating wines that reflect their origin in the purest way possible. Over the years, De Martino has been strengthened as a Chilean family vineyard by being a  leader in innovation. The Estate range amongst de Martino wines are characterised by their freshness and balance, respecting the varietal expression and the characteristics of their region of origin.

Aged for 12 months in 1 and 2 year old French oak barrels following fermentation, this wine should be enjoyed within a few years of the vintage for maximum fruit expression. All packaging is 100% recyclable.
