Our Dashwood Pinot Noir displays a dark ruby red colour with inviting aromas of dark cherry, wild strawberry and plum. Red fruits carry to the generous and juicy palate with hints of spice and smooth elegant tannins giving the wine length and poise.
Grapes were harvested from Marlborough’s two winegrowing valleys, the Wairau Valley, and the Awatere Valley at full ripeness. Once received at the winery, they are destemmed to stainless steel tanks for an extended cold soak to allow gentle extraction. Following fermentation, the wines were gently pressed off skins and put into French oak barrels for 11 months prior to blending & bottling.

Taking inspiration from the native Pohutukawa that flowers in summertime along New Zealand’s coastlines, our wines embody the care and respect we have for our precious environment.
