- French oak
- Cherry & strawberry
- Almond & spice

"Brightly fruited and youthfully charming, the wine shows dark plum, sweet cherry, thyme and almond notes with a lovely floral overtone. It's ripe and beautifully supple on the palate displaying juicy fruit flavours together with fine texture, finishing lingering and silky. Upfront and friendly, making it delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sep 2021
The Dashwood Pinot Noir displays a dark ruby red colour with inviting aromas of cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry. Red fruits carry to the generous and juicy palate with hints of spice and smooth elegant tannins giving the wine length and poise.
Grapes are harvested from Marlborough’s two winegrowing valleys, the Wairau Valley and the Awatere Valley. They are immediately destemmed and put into stainless steel tanks for an extended cold soak prior to fermentation. Pressed to mature with French oak for 11 months prior to blending & bottling, this wine is a true representation of the place it comes from.
Dashwood embraces the natural beauty of the coastlines and unique flora and fauna that are synonymous with New Zealand. Taking inspiration from the native Pohutukawa that flowers in summertime along New Zealand’s coastlines, our wines embody the care and respect we have for our precious environment.
Food Pairing: Paired perfectly with fresh pasta or smokey BBQ dishes.
