Ripe stonefruit and toasty oak lead classic Chardonnay aromatics, lifted by a hint of citrus peel. The palate is rich, creamy, and full-bodied, with flavours of grilled peach, lemon curd, and brioche at the core. Fine toasted oak and balanced acidity carry through to a long, satisfying finish.

Dashwood embraces the natural beauty of the coastlines and unique flora and fauna that are synonymous with New Zealand. Taking inspiration from the native Pohutukawa that flowers in summertime along New Zealand’s coastlines, our wines embody the care and respect we have for our precious environment.

Selectively hand-harvested in the cool of early morning, the grapes were gently pressed. After natural settling, fermentation took place in a mix of oak barrels and stainless steel. All components underwent malolactic fermentation and were aged on lees for 10 months with battonage guided by tasting.
