Corte Giara Pinot Grigio 2015 (Italy)

Description

Straw yellow in colour. Light and delicate on the nose, characterised by a subtle  elegant floral nuance followed by hints of golden  delicious apples and distinctive vegetal notes. Dry and medium-bodied, the palate faithfully reflects the nose, being tangy and satisfying, while at the same time simple and exceedingly enjoyable.

Try with mixed grilled fish, peppered mussels and clams, sea bass baked in salt, Valencian paella, baccalà (salt cod), chicken salad, nuts and exotic fruit.

The overall climate and the seasonal development in the weather during successive phenological phases in 2015 were particularly beneficial for the physiological equilibrium of the vines. The high temperatures recorded in July did not prevent the different varieties from ripening in perfect health. The harvest, which began in early September, took place in ideal conditions due to the total absence of rain. Vintage 2015 promises wines with great personality, intense aromas and good balance of acidity and extracts.
