Cherry, Herbal, Spice
Clear and luminous ruby-red colour. Fruity aromas, especially small red fruits, along with notes of undergrowth and a slight spiciness characterize the nose. Fresh with light sapidity, and pleasant soft tannins on the palate.
This 100% Pinot Noir from the rolling hills of Oltropò Pavese brings it all to the table. Aromas of ripe and warm cherries cooked with wild mushrooms and thyme swirl in the glass. The palate has a lovely core of red fruits mixed with sweet and savory spices. Well balanced with fine tannins, the wine has great texture and bright acidity.
The vineyards are located in Santa Giuletta and are characterized by clayey soil mainly. The average age of the vines is 30 years old, and the training system is guyot.
Food Pairing: Good pairing for first courses with meat sauces, and perfect with main courses based on grilled and roasted red meats.
